「Always a nice stay? 」

「Upon arriving, checking in was 5 minutes by an experienced, friendly gentleman.We open the door to our beach front roomand you immediately see the ocean. Room was immaculate, a microwave, refrigerator,cups, soap towels and an explanation paper on working the television.Also, a terrace with two chairs and a small table. The views were unbelievable, we even saw dolphins daily. The beds were great.Also, you have access to the beach from the second floor with a hose to wash the sand off. I forgot to...

「We liked the lake, water park and paddle boats for the kids. Beachwoods exclusive parking for beach access is nice. Need to get the big slide operational or replace with something else. Also the game room wasn't open which was disappointing for our kids. We stayed in one of the older models and it could really be felt in the floors and seen on the exterior. Overall it was a good experience with a few inconveniences.」

「We had a wonderful weekend getaway to the OBX and once again stayed at the HGI (my wife's favorite). Our deluxe room was clean and comfortable. The only negative thing we can say is that the HVAC system in the room is extremely loud and that it disturbs our sleep when it turns on and off during the night. Raven at the front desk was friendly and efficient at check-in and when I reported a leaky sink in the room. Rates are a bit pricey, but so is everything else these days.」

「I arrived in the evening, my room was ready. I got checked immediately, our room was clean and comfortable. Living area w/mini kitchen and sleeping area was a good size. Breakfast area was kept stocked and clean and the coffee was good and hot. Best of all the hotel is located directly on the beach, great for a morning walk with your coffee to start your day.」

「The indoor pool was great, breakfast food was fair, coffee was good. Quarters were tight in kitchen area but it was well arranged. Nice beach access and good restaurants nearby. We would stay again.」

「I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Heart of Manteo. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice, helpful with information, and took care of any concerns I may have had. I will denitely stay at the Heart of Manteo again upon my next visit to the area. 」

「This place was a little different. The room was big and good furnishings. They were remodeling. The area of the bathroom and sink was the problem. No lights near the sink and mirror . If you wanted any light you had to leave the bathroom door open. The fan also ran loudly.」
