「Check-in was easy and they worked with me when I arrived earlier than expected. The room was huge, clean, and more than adequate. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and will definitely be back. It's very convenient to the Outer Banks and Alligator River NWR so it's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, birders (like me!), and wildlife photographers. 」

「I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. Lisa, the innkeeper, was very helpful and friendly. Beth, the Manager and breakfast chef was super hospitable. With the beach just a short walk away...we...

「As an older hotel, it has a few cosmetic things but nothing major. Very quiet but also off season- great rate!! We had an issue with the blow dryer which was taken care of very quickly by maintenance. Enjoyed our stay」

「I had a room on the 2nd floor in the tower, king size bed with a dune view. However, this particular room was on the very end and seemed much larger than the one I stayed in the weekend before this day. It had an extra window on the side of the room overlooking the walkway and gazebo, and from my balcony, I had a great view of the ocean without paying ocean price. Definitely a bonus..... Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. The only critiques for me to comment on...
