"My husband and I really enjoy our 4 day stay at the adults only resort there the staff was very friendly, very helpful the swim up we had was gorgeous and the suites are big was beautiful, we appreciate the huge tub for the two of us. The vibe of the resort sexy with the saxophone soloist and the band playing some classics. We arrived on Thursday for Mexican night and the set up was amazing. The mariachi band was setting the mode. However, at the price of the stay is not matching the food, we was slightly disappointed in the food. Considering the resort is rated a diamond resort I would have liked for the food to be at a better quality. The food was subpar dry, microwaveable tasting like, for breakfast it tasted like yesterday food. I almost felt like unless you had club membership you wasn’t getting quality food served. So next time we will go and have that club experience and I’m hoping that the food would be better. That was my only complaint. Everyone there all the staff members gave us a great time and I would recommend, I just want to keep it real and that would be my only gripe the food wasn’t up to the standards of which I assumed this resort would provide."

"Had a great stay at this beautiful family friendly property. Beach is awesome but does have quite a but of seaweed not nearly as bad as other properties. Pools are scattered most of the property but are fun when you get used to it. Kids club and waterpark is great for the kids just no food and beverage allowed. Main pool is kind of disappointing since there is not enough chairs and umbrellas in the area. Service is friendly across the board. Restaurants were a miss for me. Teppanyaki was fun and had decent food. Most other restaurant are definitely not as good as other luxury properties. All in all a solid stay."

"The rooms were great. The check in process was very easy, as was the check out. No complaints there. The food at five of the six restaurants was great. We did not eat at the high end gourmet restaurant. But as far as food was concerned everything was very on point. The service in the restaurants was pretty great as well. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian restaurant as they served beef filet. The four pools were really clean and nice. The bar service was also fast. If you actually tip the guys walking around (we tipped the same guy for a whole day as we were in the same pool), you will get excellent service. The gift shop is nice, but if you’re really looking for souvenirs do yourself a favor and uber in to town and go to one of the malls. Although the gift shop is nice and they have high quality items, it’s very easy to spend a lot of money quickly there. We didn’t use the spa or the gym, so I can’t speak to either of those. But they do also have a big outdoor sports bar and night club type situation if you’re looking for after hours fun. The property is very large so be prepared to walk quite a ways to and from the beach/pools. The pools tend to get warm like bath water by early afternoon so keep that in mind as well. The property also will not break down larger bills for smaller bills for tipping, so you need to bring that ahead of time. The place is really great though if you’re looking for something outside of the main resorts. We loved it."

"We had an amazing stay at Excellence Playa Mujeres! From the moment we arrived, every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming and it truly felt like they cared about making our vacation special. The food was delicious, with plenty of flavorful options to choose from, and the service was consistently outstanding. Whether we were at the restaurants, the pool, or anywhere else on the property, the staff was always attentive and accommodating."
