We recently had a magical family stay at the SLS Cancun All-Inclusive Resort, and it was fantastic. Traveling with my wife, our toddler, and our baby, we were looking for a place that offered luxury but was also family-friendly. From the moment we arrived, the resort felt like a palace—pristine, exclusive, and truly opulent. We stayed in a higher-end ocean view room with about 800 square feet, two balconies—one with a jacuzzi—and stunning views of the ocean and marina. It was a bit of a walk from the elevator, but that meant more privacy. The resort really shines for families—there’s a kids’ club, kiddie pool, and plenty of children’s activities. Our toddler loved it, and we felt completely at ease. Dining was excellent with a variety of restaurants and outstanding service. Even though we didn’t dive into the adult-only amenities this time, we know there’s a luxurious spa and a nanny service if we come back. Overall, it’s a place we’d happily return to for both family fun and a little luxury.

I do not recommend this place. They do not have enough beach chairs or umbrellas and the ones they do are broken. I also don’t feel that this place is safe. I had an incident with a guest that accosted me, but when they found a report, they made him sign a warning instead of removing him after he signed the warning I was told that he would not if there were another fraction he would be removed. He was not removed instead it’s allowed to run free and then again cost it now my family and they did not deal with the incident.

Excellent family getaway. I can’t remember the last time we were able to relax this much on a family vacation. SLS Playa Mujeres really delivered. The kids club and teens club were fantastic.

Positives - Room was of a good design and clean. The first day, the room floor collected a lot of moisture, but the rest of the stay was moisture-free. Kids club was good with many activities including Cinema. Water park and pools were very nice, some were warm pools. Room Service was very good and timely. Spa massages were very good. Staff was generally good. Check-in process was excellent and they gave the room pretty early. Negatives - The butler service is overrated. Butler did not give full information at the start of the stay and left us to discover all the 'all-inclusive' services ourselves giving the feeling that they wanted us to lose valuable resort time and ultimately not use some of these services at all. Our butler botched a dinner reservation and we ended up getting room service. He also failed to inform us about the included Hydrotherapy for our Elite stay and we ended up buying a massage that included Hydrotherapy. Though the beach was long, it was not very broad, and Sargassum collected in large quantities. The Staff at The Market restaurant did not let us in for dinner buffet even though there was 45 minutes left until closing time.

The reason I’m not putting 5 stars , it’s hard for us to make a reservation at the restaurant they don’t have space for everyone.everyday they have 1 of the restaurant closed . Also the pool water is very cold in the pools so be ware. Cocunt are 14 dollars I think it’s overpriced.

Overall, the resort and staff were excellent. The variety of activities, food, and ability to just relax if necessary are all a reality at the resort. It was a beautiful resort. Some upkeep of the property is required, esp by the family pool area. Food was excellent! Great place for families and adults. Bathrooms could use some ventilation.

What a beautiful resort! This is the cleanest place on earth. I swear there’s someone with a broom behind you as you walk down the walkway. It’s absolutely esthetically stunning. My family had a wonderful stay

The hotel is good, clean, and the staff were also great, but the management really did not help we booked the room paid extra for the ocean view, but what we got was buildings in front and trees and only a little portion was visible from the balcony. We complained to the management and they said that they were full and they cannot do anything and did not offer much of us credit to compensate the payment that we did for the room. Has worked in hospitality industry. I think the management could've done a better job at taking care of us and making sure that what was advertised on their website and on Expedia and what we paid extra for we should've gotten, but that didn't happen. And from the looks, the hotel wasn't really as busy as they had claimed it to be. All and all the food was OK in some restaurants, but the desserts were amazing. If you are going there, be careful of the steps, too many uneven surfaces, and too many steps that seem hidden.
