This is our 2nd time staying at this beautiful resort, we loved our pool side waiter Antonio he was so attentive great hospitality great person to communicate, he was simply awesome and welcoming since day 1. The buffet was awesome, our second experience is making us plan a third trip back to Viva Maya!

Food quality was poor. Staff was good.Beach was excellent. Snack Bar was a constant disappointment with little or no food available at lunch. Buffet was very repetitive and food quality was not good. We did not know that could only book 3 restaurants during our entire visit. That was not communicated.

Immaculately clean, waterside had some seaweed, no coral reefs unfortunately but this is just location based stuff. Staff was amazing. Shows and events all over the facility, 24/7 bars and food, absolutely beautiful scenery, everyone including the overworked staff was incredibly friendly whether they spoke English or not.
