As avid travelers, we can appreciate a great experience. This was hands down the best all-inclusive we have ever been to. Everything was spotless, the service was impeccable and the staff was super friendly: Omar, Miguel, Anturo, Joanna, Pedro, Carmen, Gabriella, to name a few. The restaurants and servers were all fantastic. Seriously didn’t have one bad meal nor one bad server. They are attentive and want to make great memories for you. Already planning to be back.

This is the second time we have been here. It is a beautiful resort. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. Their restaurants have amazing food. It is a quiet resort. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of music at the pool. They only had it during a water workout class. They had it playing at the one pool, but it was so low no one could hear it. If you want a lounge chair by the pool, you do need to get there pretty early, or it's difficult to find one. We really enjoyed the swim out pool connected to our room. But there was a musty smell in our room and surrounding the property. I'm sure it's difficult to get rid of the smell with the swim out pools being right by the room . They did a great job cleaning up the sargasm seaweed along the beach every day. Unfortunately, the last day of our visit it came in so quickly they were unable to keep up with it. Matteo and Roberto were extremely friendly and always had a refill of our favorite drink!

The resort is beautiful, and staff is AWESOME. Alberto Gonzalez at the Seaside Grill was so attentive and effcient we ate their every dinner! Valdovina (beach staff) was fast and super friendly! I was disappointed to see the lack of tipping from East coast and Canadian guests "shame" on you. Beach was filled w/ sargasso seaweed unfortunately, and we received a few calls from TIME SHARE SHARKS even though we let them know upon arrival we were NOT interested. All TSs are good for is locking you into a specific date and place each year you pay for regardless if you go. Shows need to be revamped we saw same show as 4 years ago. Overall I recommend minus the seaweed and Timeshare sharks. :)

For those seeking a world-class vacation experience, please do yourself a favour and look no further. I too was looking at reviews, constantly, and wondering where I should go for premium warm destination experience. Rest assured, if you are considering Secrets Maroma for a relaxing 360-degree all inclusive experience - your investment will pay its return. The inviting reception from the moment you enter the resort, to the extremely smooth check-in process, and welcome drink with a cold hand towel - you’re greeted to a place that the Secrets team calls “home”. The room design is a masterpiece. It’s extremely clean and smells amazing. We went for a birthday and were greeted with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our room. The beach was incredible. The sand is the best I’ve ever seen before. The water (from a distance) is that blue-green colour that is gorgeous. From a distance because the water at shore is unfortunately impacted with sargassum which is not to the fault of the resort. The food was by far and large the best we’ve had at an all inclusive. The restaurants are all fantastic with Bordeaux and El Patio the top two. Entertainment was exceptional, considering it’s an all-inclusive. Every other night, it was effectively Cirque-Du-Soleil-Lite with the quality of performances. And the staff. They were truly all phenomenal. The resort likes us calling out names specifically, but there truly were too many to remember to call out. Highly recommend!

Spent 5 days in Paradise 🌴. Secrets Maroma Beach was above and beyond our expectations for memorable Mexican holiday. Service was superior, the food delicious and abundant and views that I'll remember forever. The beach during our 5 day stay, April 5th-10th was soft white powder with turquoise clear blue water everyday. Absolute Perfection 💖

The property was very clean but they continue to push hard the timeshare type pitch very hard to the point it was almost rude. The food was not good at all and the beach was beautiful but with so much seaweed it was hard to swim and enjoy. This was our second time at the resort and sadly our last.

We recently stayed at Secrets Maroma Beach and overall had a really great experience. The resort itself is beautiful, with one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever seen—soft white sand and clear turquoise water that felt almost unreal. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The bad part was the seaweed, no fault of the resort. Incredible effort was made every day by the crew to keep it clean. The staff truly made our stay special. Our butler, Roberto, went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. He was attentive, professional, and always available when we needed anything. We also want to give a special thank you to Rodriguez Estefani, who was incredibly friendly, sweet, helpful, respectful, and resourceful throughout our stay. Interactions like these really made a difference and made us feel welcome and cared for. The food was another big plus. There were plenty of options, and we enjoyed most of the restaurants we tried. Service was consistently good, and the overall atmosphere of the resort felt relaxing and well-maintained. The only downside for us was the spa—we found it to be extremely overpriced for what was offered. While the facilities looked nice, the pricing didn’t feel justified compared to other similar experiences we’ve had. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider coming back, especially for the beach, the food, and the amazing staff.
