"The room was clean, however, the slide door to the fridge was miss aligned and was almost impossible to open. The shower rack was loose and everything almost fall apart. Worst thing happened on the last night, 3 people including my son started to have diarrhea and vomiting issue and my son is still on feaver, the common food they had was the ice cream."

"The staff throughout the resort were outstanding! The entertainment staff ( Ana , Erik and Marlon ) were stand outs . The food was good but limited to 3 restaurants for dinner most nights . The rooms were very sparsely furnished there was nowhere to put your luggage or really sit down . The mini bar did not keep the drinks cold . The resort did nothing to really celebrate our honeymoon even though they were advised prior . We weren’t looking for much but a lot would have been nice . All in all a very nice resort ."

"This is advertised as a “resort” but is really a hotel. Beach is a walk, you have to pay for wristbands to use their sister properties, “all inclusive” doesn’t even include coffee, there’s 1 bar which closes at 10 pm in the lobby. The “4” restaurants are not open nightly, they rotate and you have to make reservations in advanced they don’t take walk ins even if not busy. We ended up eating off the resort half the time. The “rooftop” pool is somewhat dirty, that’s the only pool. Staff were okay, we weren’t treated very well the first night. Room service was excellent on the bright side. Just know if you’re looking for an “all inclusive” this isn’t the place, better off going to a large resort and paying the additional money as this doesn’t serve a lot of benefit. Upon walking in there was a bottle of “thinner” in our room in a water bottle, not sure what that was about. Also our room faced the street which was extremely loud, music blasting all night. "

"The structure was nice. The staff was nice. Check-in was good. Our 1st room was not ocean view (we paid for) our 2nd was good but we had to pay more. You can hear everything in the hallway when you’re in your room. Beach is approx 500 ft total. But you can’t go in the ocean as it’s mostly rocks. Nice bar and bathroom there. Entertainment is ok during the day. Cabanas are right upfront, and the chairs are behind the cabanas at the pool. Chairs are gone by 7am. Bar opens at 11am. No mimosas at breakfast. Food was ok. Restaurant was ok. Bring your own cup!! Resort was close to town. Safe to walk around. Coffee bar was great, 24 hr snack bar was good (but smells when you walk in). Pizza stand was good. Swim up bar is on third floor with 5 seats in a 30x50 pool. Cool view up there. I feel pictures of the resort on line are miss leading. We would not stay here again."

"Fabulous resort - all of it!! The architecture and layout of it is great. There is nothing cheap looking or feeling about it. We stayed in building 3 on the 7th floor overlooking the whole property. Great room and view! It was a preferred suit with an ocean view. All the staff there were so helpful and polite, our room was always very clean, the whole resort was spotless, the food and drinks were great, and the pools were excellent! We went to various nightly events around the property and they were so worth it . Obviously the management of this resort knows what they are doing. The beach was also nice with plenty of loungers etc but the water had sargassum in it while we were there, which was disappointing …but the large pool made me feel like I was in the water at the beach - which made up for it."

"Basic rooms, limited tv channel options, sheets unclean with stains, nail sticking out of bed frame. Rarely hot water, have to run for 15-30 min at times to heat up. Cafeteria staff, EXCELLENT, and included breakfast good. A ling walk to beaches and general amenities/shopping. Biggest issue was HOTEL TRANSPORT. Messaged tge hotel for a quite on private transfer to and from hotel/airport ROUND TRIP. Was super clear that i needed both ways, and told them I previously paid $40USD each way, and if they could come close, I'd book. They quoted me $126, which is substantially higher, but I agreed, so OUR hotel could get the extra $$$. They sent me a payment link, I paid, and THOUGHT we were all set. (3 of us) The night before leaving, I hadn't heard anything, so i messaged to confirm a time for pickup. They acted like they had no idea we needed a ride, and told me to pay another $126USD, and complete payment IMMEDIATELY if we wanted the ride. We ended up calling Carribean Transport services, that charged LESS than 1/2 their price, for a nicer vehicle, and friendlier driver. We left a nice HUGE tip, and would use them again. We go to Playa yearly or twice yearly, and will not stay here again, as it was a scam & letdown all around. There were a few other issues, but this should give you more than enough to avoid this place."
