Room and pools were great. Staff was the worst I’ve encountered at a Mexican resort (this being our 4th trip). They constantly seemed annoyed with having to do anything. The family concierge is not useful at all. I’ve booked a similar concierge room at Palladium Kantenah last year and this is like night and day in terms of quality. We had to reach out to them on our 2nd day when it became obvious that they were not attempting to introduce themselves. We constantly had to remind them that we asked for things like ice (there are no ice machines in this resort, or at least not in the family section that we were in). They couldn’t get us any reservations other than 9pm which doesn’t work with young kids. When walking by the restaurants between 6 and 8, they were never full. Not sure why no resos are available if the restaurants are empty. Beaches were covered in sargassum, but that’s no fault of the hotel. it did however make the beach unusable. Room was big however hot tubs on balconies don’t work. You would have to fill your tub for hours to get enough water. This wasn’t just our room, we travelled with 6 other families and none worked. Some positives: pools and water park were great, buffet was good enough. Swim up bars were great and the drinks were well made. In summary, not worth upgrading to family concierge and this resort is far from 5 star. Closer to 3.5 if you want to be realistic.

La chambre était très spacieuse et belle ( le sol en marbre, un grand balcon avec un jacuzzi et des fauteuils extérieur). La salle de bain était magnifique avec une énorme baignoire et une douche séparée. Vraiment spacieuse chambre et beaucoup de rangements. La connexion internet était dans l ensemble très bonne dans l hôtel. Très pratique pour une famille d être dans notre zone à côté du bateau de pirate pour les enfants et du bar/restaurant Celsius pour adulte. L aquazone est aussi super pour les petits et plus grands. Beaucoup de différentes slides! Le seul bémol est la réservation pour les restaurations le soir. Il faut vraiment s y prendre d avance sinon il n y a aucune place. Le spectacle du soir pour les enfants est très bien ainsi que les nombreuses activités du kids club! Je recommande vivement !

Very clean and beautiful amenities. Food was amazing, all the restaurants and the buffet were very tasty and loved to find authentic Mexican flavours. Pools were very well cared for, a little on the cooler side but very enjoyable. The aqua park was good just wished they had more for the bigger kids like a bigger slide. My 3 kids loved the ice cream parlour and my husband and I loved the nespresso bakery, what a treat having good quality coffee 24/7. Kids also loved the kids club, though I did wish they had a little more sports. The entertainment was also great for families. My only suggestions would be to improve the bedding as the sheets were not very comfortable and neither were the pillows. The rooms were well appointed and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Another thing we missed was lively music by the pool. It would’ve been great to have more Latin music and dance. We had great service throughout and specially appreciated the pool side and entertainment staff. Omar and Venecia were also very attentive. Most of the staff were very warm but we found some to be a little cold and very focused on the tip. Overall wonderful experience and we already can’t wait to be back.

If you have toddlers — like we do (ages two and four) — this resort is absolutely for you. There were kids everywhere, and so many activities specifically designed for little ones. They really cater to families. What I loved most is that they also balance it beautifully for parents. There’s an adults-only section, and they offer a daycare/kids club with tons of activities, so you can actually enjoy a fancy dinner or some quiet time while your kids are having fun. The staff was amazing. The resort itself was beautiful. We honestly weren’t there long enough to explore everything because it’s a large property with so much to do. One thing I really want to mention — please tip the staff. They work incredibly hard, and what they’re paid is simply not enough for everything they do. Their kindness, energy, and service truly make the entire experience special. A little extra appreciation goes a long way and is very well deserved. Hands down, this is the best resort I’ve been to — and I usually like trying different ones. This one is truly top-notch.

This resort boasts its family friendly activities, but doesn’t specify that the activities don’t include teen activities. The main children activities very obviously end at age 11. There is a teen club section with no activities planned…. After bringing this to their attention kudos to Abril who did her best to provide some age appropriate activities for my teenage grandchildren! Do not go to this resort if you’re expecting teen groups of fun! Very disappointing!

The resort was very clean, beautiful, smelled amazing. Rooms were very spacious & clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The coffee and ice cream shops were a nice addition. Beach was very beautiful and spacious, seaweed was very minimal.

The resort is solid with no major issues, but we found the family concierge upgrade not worth the additional price. Pros: - Bountiful activities for kids like face painting, balloon animals, bouncy castles, etc. - Good a la carte options that differ from the buffet food. - Solid waterpark with both kid and toddler friendly features. - A kids-friendly main pool that is centrally located - A smaller and efficient resort layout makes it easy to get around regardless of your location. Cons - The buffet food is okay, but it is served in a small room that feels crowded. - The resort is on the smaller side, and the kid-to-adult ratio is very high, which makes the resort feel chaotic at times. This causes the staff to appear overworked and stressed at times - and I don't blame them. - They oversell the family concierge, so the "exclusive" areas are overrun. - The concierge pool is supposed to be heated, however the heater is broken and has been for months. - Even with a pre-arrival concierge and a direct concierge, the reservation system is still difficult. It is still hard to get decent times. - The beach is nice, but 80 percent of it is unswimmable due to a reef close to shore. People all swim in the same small area. - Staff are continously trying to upsell premium alcohol at restaurants and on the property itself. We went during the superbowl and they were trying to sell a 750 USD dinner package to watch the game.

Another guest's underwear sat in front of our swim up pool for our entire stay.

Clean rooms, friendly & courteous staff and the food was awesome! Lots of space at the pools and plenty to do between the water park, main pool, beach, kids club activities, etc.

Five stars all the way! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was truly exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot for families and children comfortable, accommodating, and enjoyable for everyone. We’ll definitely be back!
