"We got upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely surprise. Our room was luxurious compared to the more budget accommodations we'd been staying at on our trip. We were asked to pay a 400¥ accommodation tax - not a big deal.
The only complaint was that we did not have time to enjoy the breakfast buffet and a refund was not possible. Hopefully, someone else was able to enjoy that on our behalf!
The hotel is located within walking distance to an outlet mall, if that's what you're into, but if not, there is also a large grocery superstore (like Walmart) also within walking distance to load up on Japanese goods before you board. There is also a Donki, but we could not face the overwhelm again! 😆 You'll definitely want an umbrella if it's raining for both.
