「My daughter and I celebrated a late Mother's Day trip at Guy Harvey Resort. I planned to create a pro/con list for this review, but the visit was all pros! First of all, the stellar staff made our stay amazing. My daughter mentioned anyone who worked there seemed to actually like their job! 「Overall,it's a nice place to stay. We were quite satisfied with the included breakfast. The only less-than-excellent item: despite a feather bed style mattress topper, the bed itself felt as solid as a slab of granite.」

「Very convenient to every thing in St. Augustine, but happily just out of the super busy downtown area that can get so congested. Room was very clean with everything needed to make the stay complete. Breakfast is wonderful and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I will go back!」

「The staff was super friendly and helpful. The walls were very thin, so I heard all the talking in the room next to mine. I'm not a fan of faux wood plank floors, but it appears Best Western is installing them in their rooms now. I felt I was walking on a dirty floor. When I spilled my water and cleaned it up, I was surprised how dirty the floor was. Finally, I was not happy that I had to pay $10 a night (plus taxes)for parking in the Best Western parking lot. Really?」

「We stayed for just 1 night but they allowed us to check in early and the room was very clean. I was very pleased that when we opened the door to go in the room the ac was turned on and it was nice and cool and it smelled amazing. I will definitely book this hotel again when we return to St Augustine Beach. 」

「The hotel was under construction at the time of our visit so the pool was unavailable. They only offered fruit and pre-packed pastries with coffee for breakfast. I’m sure once the construction is completed it will be much better . 」

「It was a '60s' Era type of Motel. Well renovated and very well maintained. Clean and comfortable room, nice pool area, well lit at night, and would stay again.」

「The staff was excellent, attentive, informative and just plain nice. There are no drawers in the room. God forbid that a guest stay any longer than a night or two and want to unpack. 」
