「Who got to decide the design of the connecting room and the 0-sound-proofed wall must be a genius that loves to sleep with the noise and talking and laughing until 2 or 3 pm Except this everything is good. Great view great pool great location. If you don’t mind the noise, go. 」

「The property is ideally situated right on the beach. The pool area is delightful and the pool is heated so as not to be shockingly cold. You can lounge in the sun or shade and the ocean is visible from there. In-between the pool and the beach is the restaurant/bar. Our food and drinks were delicious, inc. the biggest peel n eat shrimp I've ever seen. Their smash burger was YUM! We found the entire staff to be friendly and accommodating. OK, now for why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5....

「The room was clean. All the staff was friendly on all shifts as well as helpful. Breakfast was good. The king size bed and comfy soft pillows and sheets help to have a great night sleep.」

When I booked, I didn’t fully think through the 4:00 PM check-in time compared to our 10:30 AM arrival after disembarking, so that’s something future cruise travelers may want to plan around. 「Came down for spring break as a solo mom with two kids ages 9 and 7. We originally booked the Beachside Hotel and upon checking we immediately checked out and got a last minute room at Westgate for 4 nights. The front desk crew was super welcoming to us (thanks Ro and Amy) and when we got to our super clean suite with big comfy beds we were so relieved! The next day the resort looked even better in the daylight. The beach spot is fantastic, you can rent chairs and umbrellas and boogie boards...

「The motel could be better. There’s a whole bunch of unmatched indoor type of chairs and sofas outside the rooms that make the place feel getto. We arrived early hoping to be able to get our suitcases checked in so we can enjoy the beach but there was no one at the front desk even though the sign said the person would be there at 10am.
