When you enter, it looks clean and modern, reception very helpful and friendly. Then you enter the creaky elevator (one wasn’t working so had one for 8 floors for the day), carpets in hallways had same detritus the whole time we were there along with accumulated garbage at the ends of the halls. The room itself was “inconsistently updated” —it doesn’t matter if you slap a new bed set and other wall features in if you don’t repair the hole in the ceiling, fix the cracked tile and the moldy caulk in the bathroom, paint or replace the peeling door from 1992, and so on. The bed was very uncomfortable and so were the pillows. The room itself was otherwise very clean (although housekeeping ignored our Do Not Disturb sign … what the hell) and the breakfast buffet was very good with overall good service. The beach/pool showers never worked. The heated pool was nice. Overall this is an OK price for an OK hotel on the beach near a relative’s house.

Beautiful beach. Nice to have the tiki bar resturant on site. Music was a lil loud the one night only as there was a wedding they had cocktail hour right under our room. There was also a tent set up so that took up chunk of property. Close to restaurants bars etc. A little deceiving about the chairs at the beach. The pictures showed them but you have to rent them

The hotel was very dog friendly/accomodating.We loved being able to bring thr dogs on the beach.Our room was very nice and clean but the floors were very deeply scratched and the couch had a stain which i covered with a sheet. I showed photos at the desk to ensure our well trained dogs were not blamed.There was only one of two elevators working and it was also down a few times during our stay. we were constantly waiting to get on since it was small and slow with lots of workers and guests cramming into it. We received a free breakfast for the issue and that was awful on the 16th. The buffet items were barely warm, the bacon was burnt, the sausage patties were curled they were so overcooked and dried up, and the danish was stale. I was surprised the waitress actually made us use our vouchers for a breakfast we could not eat. The following 2 mornings i went down and the buffet was just fine! The same waitress agreed Monday the 16th was just a bad morning but still didnt offer any compensation. The free shuttle was wonderful! It takes you and picks you up within a 5 mile radius which is perfect for a ride to diwntown Melbourne for local shopping and eating.

Rented a suite and for what I paid for it, it was uncomfortable ( couch, chairs and bed ), less in the room than expected, for a dog friendly hotel there really wasn’t any place to take the dogs to go to the bathroom. Very disappointed and not likely come back.

Staff was excellent, especially our valet guys! There weren’t any amenities really. No microwave in the room. The fridge didn’t work. We reported both of those things but it wasn’t addressed during our stay. The bed was comfortable and appreciated the king, fluffy pillows. Continental breakfast wasn’t offered and we were given a $10 credit that we didn’t use.

Pros/Cons Pros - Beautiful View and Staff was courteous and hard working. Room was nice. Cons - Hotel has resort fees per day so maybe you feel as if you got a good daily rate but then you have to add daily resort fee- im sure it was mentioned but I didnt notice that it would be 30 bucks a day more just to be there.. On site parking is Valet only about 8 bucks a day. So every time you need to get your car you have to request it and of course customary to tip. If we didnt like that we would have to park across the street and pay the same 8 dollars to park it ourselves. Their kitchen cannot handle the amount of guest they booked for the days we were there, long wait time for breakfast lunch and dinner and the food was not worth the wait at any time and one of the days not even good at all. They were out of one meal selection for dinner one night and out of fries for a burger gave us chips smh. Drinks were ok and overpriced to just be ok. The workers they are hustling its not them only management can own the cons. We have stayed in this area before I do not see us staying at this particular hotel again.

Overbooked our one bedroom suite had to settle for two Queens, our first night then had to switch rooms the next day,the one bedroom suite had no door to close off from the bathroom or hall and living room, and every day ran out of hot water or didn’t have hot water,

Room was large with balcony overlooking the ocean. Room was clean, had to ask to get our room cleaned tho (not that big of a deal tho). They also gave us a room credit to use at the restaurant since we didn’t have a car to park
