The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was friendly, however the housekeeping was poor. The rooms were very clean but you have to ask them to come and provide clean towels. Beds were never made and we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels and shampoo. The property was a little run down, but the location was very convenient. As always, you get what you pay for.

The front desk personnel were absolutely extraordinary. The rooms were perfect for what we were here for. The breakfast buffet area was very clean and the coffee was fresh and hot. The grounds were very well maintained and everyone was very respectful. There is also a restaurant but we had made other plans. The area seemed calm and there was plenty of parking. The only issue was housekeeping decided to bust in our room at 8:20 this morning which was unexpected and very startling. I did go to the front desk and the very kind lady at the front desk was more than apologetic. She also contacted the General Manager of the property and he was more than respectful and willing to help in anyway that he could. I worked with Marriott properties for years and this staff and general manager are top notch. The bath tub could be replaced as it is very worn and housekeeping should clean under the coffee pot area as that was a bit dirty. The pillows were a bit small but the beds were clean and very comfortable. It is a great place for the price as well. I would give the hotel 4 and a half stars (out of 5) and would most definitely recommend.

We enjoyed the area, the room was perfect for what we needed and looked very nice. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the onsight bar and grille, and the front desk staff was wonderful! It was a quick and quiet stay but it was prefect. No complaints.

I had a disappointing experience at this property. The listing gave the impression that it was close to the beach, but in reality, it’s over 3 miles away—definitely not walkable, especially in the heat, and no shuttle or transportation was offered. This made it very inconvenient to get to the beach or any local attractions. The location itself felt isolated. There were no good restaurants, cafes, or shops nearby, so we had to drive every time we wanted to eat or pick something up. This really took away from the convenience we were expecting. Another issue was the atmosphere around the property. Several guests were smoking right outside their rooms, and the smell often drifted into shared walkways and even into our room at times. This made it uncomfortable, especially for non-smokers. As for the room, it was much smaller than advertised. There wasn’t much space to move around or store luggage. The bathroom was especially disappointing—the tub was tiny, almost like it was designed for a child, and didn’t feel clean or updated. Overall, the space felt cramped and worn. I wouldn’t recommend this property to others, especially if you’re looking for a relaxing beach getaway or easy access to dining and shopping. It didn’t meet the expectations set by the listing.

Pros: Tasha at the front desk was so friendly, helpful, and patient with all of our questions, she got our trip off to a good start. The pool was nice. The room was clean. The area was quiet and felt safe. Housekeeping was friendly and fast with bringing us extra blankets and pillows. Cons: the lock on the bathroom door was broken. There was no way to make hot water in the room for us tea drinkers. It was nice that they always kept the lobby stocked with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, it would be nice to be able to make tea in the room. The breakfast was not great. The scrambled eggs were too salty, and the boiled eggs felt like rubber. The waffles were pretty good though. Overall, this hotel was a good deal for the low price.

The staff, who was helping me to check in, was not quite friendly. There was a Longspine Sandburg on the bed under the sheets. I didn't realize that. When I got under the sheets, I got stung by the long spine. It was a quite painful at that moment. The cleaning staff should check the bed and make sure it was clean and put a clean sheets there when fixing the bed.The bathroom is a little bit rusty.
