"Nice view"

"I would not suggest staying at this hotel if you hope to have a restful sleep. I was there on a Monday and the noise from the local bar is so loud you can’t sleep. Ruined my next day entirely. They didn’t turn off the music til 3am. I will never stay there again. The base almost shock the room. "

"Please be aware when booking your room at this hotel - the traditional studio is located on the main floor of the building and does not have an outdoor balcony. We made this mistake when booking. Instead it has what looks like a closed in patio that is dark, full of mosquitos and smelled like mold. We were not able to pay to upgrade our room when we got there - our stay would have been so much better with an outdoor balcony - it was not nice to eat or hang out in a dark room with no proper windows. The rooftop pool area is really nice. And the location is really nice - we got to easily explore the city by foot. Be prepared that the kitchen is sparsely equipped - we had to ask for a second chair for the kitchen table, and a cooking pot. They are pretty good at getting these items when requested. "

"The experience started off horrible it got better but overall very disappointing. We coordinated and paid $160 for a shuttle through the hotel to be picked up from airport. We were never picked up when we arrived. After 2 hours of waiting they just apologized and we got our own taxi. You would think they would give us a room upgrade or comp something for the being left at airport but no. Just apologized and said it was their fault. The room had a musty dirty smell. The hotel food was mediocre. There was only one bar open in the whole hotel after 5pm. Drinks were watered down. The gym was open 24 hours which was great but a lot of equipment was broken for our entire stay. The entertainment team was the highlight they were very friendly and fun. We extended our vacation in playa del Carmen by 3 days if this hotel treated us better we would have just stayed there. But decided to go across the street to Hyatt Vivid and what a night and day difference. Place was phenomenal. Hyatt is more expensive but absolutely worth every penny."

"I wanted a hotel that was relaxing and away from the busyness of Quinta Avenida. This hotel was a great location and the rooms were immaculate. Great bonus if you want kitchenette features. The pool and rooftop facilities need a little love but otherwise, hotel was everything I needed."

"Great overall experience. Was a bit disappointed, the margaritas were pre-paid in a jug. I’m from Toronto, and our Mexican restaurants have much better margaritas than this resort, which is sad. Other than that, you get what you paid for in this resort. "
