「Lovely hotel set on South Sands beach. Room nice - we had one looking out over road and car park - seaview ones more expensive. Walls are thin and you hear the plumbing system in morning when others are using their bathrooms. Breakfast is a delight, overlooking the sea and choice is excellent. 「Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had. Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room. Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. 」

Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. 」

「The 2 rooms which we have were absolutely awful….dirty and dusty and old. Walls didn’t see paint for years -some of wallpaper was stick together with tape ! We have mould and damp on the wall . My son vie from the window was bins and cars as his room was on the basement. Food was extremely basic and poor quality. Stuff smoking cigarettes outside and whole halls stink . You can hear drains all evening when people flushed the toilet. Walls are very thick so you can hear every single noise….Awful...
