「We spent two nights at Tides Folly Beach right before Xmas and enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again especially in the summertime. Clean room and friendly staff. Great view of the pier and beach from our room. We watched lots of surfers. Easy and free onsite parking. There are many cute restaurants nearby. We didn't get a chance to try it but Pinky's looks like a fun beachside restaurant right at the hotel. Quick 20-min drive to downtown Charleston. Our mini frig was making a noise...

「Shem Creek Inn was the perfect place for me and my son to stay for catching a charter boat to Crab Bank and for visiting Charleston. The hotel was clean, modern, and beautifully located on the creek with loads of pelicans and other birds flying by. Nicole at check in was super helpful and friendly, and the self-serve breakfast had better options for us than, for example, a Holiday Inn Express. Parking was a breeze in December, and plenty of good restaurants close by. I'd certainly stay here...
