「The location was poor. Room in poor condition. Morning breakfast was a joke. Would never recommend. Had additional charge of a $50 deposit refundable in the morning. They tried to keep it stating I didn’t pay it, only when advising I would be calling local police for a theft report did I get it back. 」

「Basically clean. Many long term "residents" living on the water side of the hotel. Not real family friendly environment.」

「The only negative comment I have is that I think there might be mold in the rooms. I had a very hard time breathing in the rooms and was fine when I would leave for the day. I ended up with a respiratory infection. I know it’s sounds silly but, OTHER THAN THAT…everything was great! I enjoyed The Blue Gator for dinner and the room was VERY large! 」

「The staff was amazing. They were kind and helpful. The room was straight out of the 1980’s it was so old and just dingy. There was for sure mold in the AC unit. They really need to update it. 」

「The resort is not fully functioning. Tiki bar, food and spa services are completely shut down. The room was in the only open building in the back part of the resort, A/C did not work. Under complete construction. Very disappointed. When we made the staff aware of our concerns, they literally said nothing, other than to discuss with Expedia.」

「Sort of weird. The hotel is currently literally inside a construction zone - you have to drive down a rough dirt road to get there. The room is quite run-down (the construction is replacing the current structure). But everything - wifi, AC, plumbing - works. The free continental breakfast is a joke. However, it is on the water. The back door of the room opens right onto the bay. We saw manatees and a dolphin right there. The attached restaurant is just fine. 」
