「The coffee maker did not work, the tub’s faucet constantly leaked all night long. There was blood on the floor in the bathroom. I didn’t know if I was walking on a crime scene, or a woman’s worse day. For breakfast I was one of the first people there. I felt like a child who had snuck out of bed and asked for a glass of water the way the staff treated me . I was scared to grab a muffin or some coffee. Everytime I grabbed something the staff was looking at me like I was in some sort of trouble . ...

「The lady checking us in was rude and tried to charge us way more than what we booked online. Joseph was professional and got it taken care of. Breakfast especially the taco bar was delicious. The valet parking was good as well. The water pressure in the rooms may be the worst that I have ever had in a hotel. Overall we had a good time.」

「Got a room with a balcony. This isn’t the newest hotel with all the new tech, etc but that isn’t what you are paying for. This hotel exceeds in customer service and is in the BEST location possible if you want to do things in downtown New Orleans and not have to commute. Everything was exactly what I expected and we’d stay here again in a heartbeat.」

「Sunshine at the front desk was the best! Very Welcoming. Cleaning staff came early morning, asked if she could give us a few minutes to put shoes on and get out of her way. Rolled her eyes left. Did not return until hours later after we had left for her. Another day we had been gone all day and when we returned she rolled up to clean our room and we had to leave again. This was the only problem we had and we returned to this hotel a second time because we liked it and the location was...

「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」
