「it was warm in the room and there wasn't enough ventilation to cool it down. So even if it was cool outside, it was warm inside and made sleeping difficult」

「This was an overall nice hotel. The inside is a little maze like on a long winding path that involved going up stairs then down stairs and such but the room itself was great. Very clean and comfortable. I will say, we didn’t know before hand but apparently Kilkenny is a party town on weekends with lots of large groups going from pub to pub and it was loud outside until 3 or 4 am. Not something the hotel has any control over, obviously, but something to keep in mind if you’ll be staying here over...

There was a bus stop just across the street, but we decided to walk to town, and it was a very easy walk. We would definitely stay here again.」

The next day I was told they would try fixing it again instead of moving me. Supposedly tried calling me later in the night for a switch. I tried calling reception twice on separate times with no answer. Checked out finally. Spent two days sweltering. Worst experience in my 5 days around Ireland so far.」

「If you are looking for peace and quiet - this isn't the hotel for you. Very (very) noisy due to the huge amount of families with small children. However, the outdoor infinity pool is a quiet oasis away from the chaos!」
