Lovely boutique hotel in walkable location to all the attractions. Enjoyed a delicious bowl of seafood chowder in the gorgeous bar. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast had a large buffet selection plus a hot breakfast cooked to order. Perfectly comfortable 1st night in Ireland after a long journey and jet lag.

We lovers the property and the location, the only drawback was the lack of AC, however, that was to be expected given the age of the property.. the breakfast was amazing, as was the check in and the welcome drink.: we would definitely stay again.

I loved my stay in this historic bank-turned hotel. It's perfectly located to enjoy Kilkenny entirely on foot, and the rooms are well maintained. The breakfast selection was good, and we enjoyed having a pub and restaurant on-site. I would absolutely stay again

We liked the hotel in the room, free breakfast was very nice. The main problem was that our room was super hot, we got there, and the windows were open to cool down the room, and fans were on. Overnight it was very hot and even into the morning. It was nice that the breakfast was included with the room price, and we received a welcome drink at the bar that was complementary. Beds were not the most comfortable.

This is a centrally located hotel in Kilkenny with a good bar featuring live music. Rooms are quite large and comfortable but are dated and could use a face lift. The lobby was jammed with a bus tour during check in so that was a poor experience for us as the desk was jammed and the lift was too. Breakfast was included but the restaurant only opened at 7 and out. Us to Dublin was at 7:15 so we were out of luck. Welcome cocktail was a sweet fruity affair that couldn’t be swapped for a different choice of our liking.

Loved the hotel and its proximity to city center. Very close walk to Kilkenny Castle and lots of shops and restaurants. Especially enjoyed Left Bank right across the street. Hotel had live music in the evening which was a highlight. We could have listened to Tomas Jackman all night singing his Irish ballads. A definite highlight. Bartenders went out of their was to please and serve us, even though they were very busy. All the staff from the front desk to the bar to the restaurant were amazing! Top notch all the way! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Room was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. Breakfast choices were amazing, with buffet and then hot choices you could order off the menu all included with our room. Fabulous!
