「Room was neglected 」

「Disappointing breakfast; lukewarm coffee, very slow toaster」

「Basic room, looking a bit tired but as expected for the low price. Staff were nice and the location was good for me so overall I was happy with my stay for the price I paid.」

「After a long journey from Devon, we were met with a warm welcome at reception with keys and directions to Pheasant Lodge. The grounds we viewed as we headed in were immaculately kept with a large lake/pond with good fishing platforms in place. Brent geese and ducks had already moved in. A good play area, with some distance from the first lodge, looked safe and well maintained. The peace and expanse of this lovely spot, with 'work in progress' for a restaurant/cafe/shop, makes it definately, ...

「Great property, very quiet location, lots of golfers on the coarse so guess its good to (not a golfer). Food was amazing (though a little pricey) and the staff were incredible. With a nice bonus of a live act in the bar on Saturday night. The only let down was the pool etc. Locker rooms in need of some TLC, the pool was absolutely freezing and the steam room didnt seem to be working. All in all though a nice hotel, in a quiet area to get away from it all. 」

「Lights and extractor fan not working in the room. Reports of worms in the swimming pool by other guests. However, we didn’t see any worms and thought the pool and leisure facilities were fine. Moved to a different room due to lights and fan not working then ended up with bed bug bites from the mattress. (Confirmed by pharmacist) wrote a complaint to hotel about this but received no response. Would not be staying there again. Expedia tried to help with some form of refund but hotel didn’t reply...
