"Beautiful looking hotel with plenty of space and facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. Great choice of eating places, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our 8 year old grandson loved the indoor swimming pool and we all had a fabulous stay."

While Darley Abbey might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Derby Cathedral and Kedleston Hall.
Once a major player in the Industrial Revolution, this English riverside city boasts centuries-old landmarks, innovative districts and a thriving real ale scene.
As it is situated opposite the train stain, 5 minutes walk from town with great takeaways and restaurants all around, the pubs are excellent as well. I hope you all enjoy your stays as much as we did😀

Was born and bred in Melbourne and came up from Plymouth for the football and visit family and a little sightseeing. It has changed beyond belief and I got a little lost in Derby but I really enjoyed visiting swarkstone lock reminiscing my childhood

We were only there for one night seeing Adam Slack and Kelsy Karter at The Hairy Dog so did not have time to sight see but loved what we did see 😊

Centre of Derby has a lot of drink and drug homeless people around, and a lot of closed shops gives the appearance of a rundown town
