「Stayed over night and attended an awards night on site. Form the welcome to the rooms to the food and service we had nothing to fault. Our only annoyance was the £15 parking charge which really ought to be free for guests staying the night.」

「The best hotel, among the six hotels, i had stayed in our recent trip to the UK. Not only does thw hotel has tidy and spacious family room, the toilet is clean and the breakfast is wonderful and the room rate is very attractive. The only drawback is that there is no lift for our room at upper floor. In sum, an excellent hotel which i am ready to patronize or recommend to ky friends. 」

「So bad. We just arrived around 20 minutes and then they ask us to pay for charge of bath with no reason. I’ve no idea why but the manager told us cuz we have arrived 20 minutes so we need afford the charge of bath. 」

Negatives: our booking was changed fairly last minute from “the terrace” to a different house “the Mews” for unknown reasons. (So my review is not for this listing, but for “The Mews”.) 「The host was very welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. Breakfast had lots of choices for different appetites. My room was lovely with a fan for the heat, plenty of tea, coffee, etc. and a powerful shower. All in all a great place to visit.」

「If for nothing else, 5* because they understand that the milk sachets don't give you enough milk to make a decent cuppa. Most hotels etc will give you 2-4, (yes you can ask for more) but this place gives you a well stocked tea/coffee area! Else where, lovely property right on the river bank with great views.
