Staff very friendly . We had an issue and didn’t feel safe with a person who was drunk and they moved us straight away. Dining staff friendly helped find a table not in the sun as beautiful as it is . Plenty food. Buffet not very hot but that’s understandable for a buffet . Lovely stay

From the moment I checked in the plug sockets weren't working, so we had no electric to charge our phones. We had to go down to reception as when I used the QR code to whatsapp nobody replied and still haven't. I even rang it too. A maintenance guy came to fix the electric. I booked your hotel specifically to use the hot tub as I have a musculoskeletal issue. I went to use it to find it is not in use and somebody said it hadn't been since August. I would have appreciated the hotel contacting me to advise that your facilities were out of order as I would have booked to stay elsewhere. You have 2 air con units on the way to the changing room and in the women's changing room. The changing room 1 had a bucket under but the other didn't and the floor was slippy and a bit of water dripped on my head. This is not safe. The shower in the room must have a blocked plug hole, as when I showered I was stood in several inches of water. I have taken pics and will attach. The bathroom sink was the same. Took ages for water to drain down. We went out and came back late to find the room freezing cold and the heating did not work. We had to go down to reception to report and somebody came up with a portable heater. This was not adequate enough as I was freezing cold and couldn't sleep til after 2am. I reported these issues this morning and the receptionist apologised and asked me to email the manager, which I did but they are away until next week.

It must be very difficult to get staff. Except for the cleaning staff - they are always nice and helpful - It seems like nobody cares about anything, least of all the customers. It seems like we are more like an annoyance. I normally say; when you have a bad attitude with an employee, you have an employee-problem. When you have a bad attitude with all employees, you have a management problem. Draw your own conclusions from that.

They say children are free to stay but we had to pay extra for a cot and a child’s bed. Plus I thought parking was included but it was £12 a day which we couldn’t afford. The room was really small so even though it was meant to be a big room, there was no floor space with extra beds which is fine but nothing like I imagined from the pictures. One left wasn’t working and the other was slow. The stairs are external fire stairs so you feel like you are in a multi storey car park. The jacuzzi was broken but we weren’t informed. The pool is very small plus they have baby lessons in there at weekends so there is only space for one other room or a couple of people and locals can pay to use it. The changing room is as big as a family changing room! The pool and showers were lovely and warm when we were there though. It is not an accessible as random staircase to pool. Food was fine but nothing tasted delicious. It really helped that children’s breakfast was free though, made up for all the extras with beds and parking. We enjoyed our visit as people were nice and decor of the room was nice and it was convenient for visiting our friends. It was however not worth the cost and I don’t want to go back.

First time staying here and wasn’t impressed. 40 minutes in a queue to check in. The room was very small, pictures definitely made it look bigger. Whilst the room decor was lovely the lighting was not, trying to put my make up on at the dressing table was difficult with the lighting. It was very dark in there. When we were ready to go out we went to the bar downstairs to get a drink. There was one member of staff of who was making drinks we waited 10 minutes while he made drinks in front of us and asked him how long he would be, he said 5 minutes. We left, no one wants to wait 15 minutes to have a drink. The service at this hotel was not worth the money I paid. Won’t be coming back.

The room was presented to an overall good standard and staff polite and friendly. We were disappointed with the breakfast and therefore did not book any further breakfasts after the first day. My wife enjoyed using the sauna and pool during the day before the evening peak period.

Unfortunately there was a Christmas party taking place and our rooms were above on the first floor so we could hear all the noise. Our room was also above the area where everything seemed to congregate outside so the noise continued into the early hours. The lifts were also constantly out of use. The corridor smelt musty The heater in the room didn’t work properly and was very noisy. Would not stay again!

The hotel offers good facilities and is in a convenient locations. The food is ok, but most days I had to wait for a long time to get a table in the restaurant. The jacuzzi was broken and hadn't been fixed for days. Also, something needs to be done about the moth infestation.
