"The staff at the front desk were very accommodating when I asked for a room change. The room I was put in first was overlooking construction that’s ongoing.I have been to this hotel several times over the last 16 years. I always enjoy my stay. I will be back."

"We enjoyed our time at RumFish. The beach and outdoor areas were beautiful. We loved the hammocks! However the interior is definitely dated and needs some tlc. The elevators are incredibly slow, just hope your room is not on the 4th floor. The first day we checked in, there was a couple leaks coming from the ceiling in the bathroom in our room. I informed the staff twice and it never got fixed until the house keeping saw it the next day. Food and drinks are pretty expensive. We spent most of our time in the beach which is probably the nicest area."

"We used to come here all the time, but hadn’t been here for about 10 years. The check-in was great. Our flight was early so she got us checked in by 1 o’clock. It was sad that the place has not updated anything as far as their rooms. Pull out couch in living room has many stains and kind of gross looking. We put a sheet on it before we sat down. Balcony has a nice view, but we couldn’t go on it with bare feet because it was so filthy and sticky. The maintenance of this property used to be very clean, but it’s broken down. Besides the check-in woman, I found that the staff wasn’t that friendly, for instance, I was leaving on May 6 at 4 PM, so is typically might be the case. I went to the front desk on the afternoon of the fifth to ask for a late checkout of an hour. The Man at the desk started to look at the computer to see if it was possible, just done a younger girl who was standing behind the dust as well. Said the ownership does not allow late checkouts. I had never heard of such a thing especially on a Wednesday. I called in the morning and talked to a different person at the front desk and they gave me a late checkout. That told me employees sort of make their own rules when convenient for them. There’s plenty of places to go on Golf Drive. I’ll pick somewhere else next time."

"The photos make this place look better than it actually is. It’s old and very outdated. Smells musty. Shower tub was peeling and rusted. No vent in bathroom so it steams up really bad and everything gets wet. Queen beds are very small to be “queen” size and not comfortable. Staff is pretty rude. There’s a bar attached to the motel so a lot of guests get too drunk and are loud late at night. The A/C for your room is a window unit that’s fairly noisy. The pool is the nicest part but it is right outside most of the rooms so you smell the chlorine from your room. I do not recommend this place. There are better options for the same price or cheaper."
