「Staff were excellent at both check-in and check-out. Breakfast choices were modest, coffee was pretty good. Our room was convenient and spacious. Needs carpet cleaned to remove stains and bathroom needs to be re-caulked.」

The room has quality mattresses, upscale pillows, bedding, and towels, and looks modern with newer furnishings and carpet. Everything has been remarkably clean and pleasant. 「We didn't stay because the pool was closed becausw the health department closed it and that was the whole reason for the room. The guy said he wouldn't check me in and the money would be refunded. That has yet to happen. Would not recommend.」

「I love staying at Stone Canyon Hotel!! My mom lives in an apartment close by and I always stay at this property if there is availability. The staff is kind and so helpful and the breakfast is great. Beds are comfortable and there is a beautiful walking trail right outside the door for an early morning walk or jog. Close to everything and easy access to 470, I-70, stadium, and KC. This is my favorite place to stay in KC area!」

「The staff was helpful but they seemed really unsupported by management. The hotel was totally slammed and the poor staff didnt have what they needed. At one point we didn’t have linens for the pullout bed and the front desk had no way of helping us aside from giving us a different room. The manager was either not on site or not available, and also unavailable by phone.」

「Booked and paid through Expedia, but hotel charged us twice. So, charged three times for the room. Trying to get a refund. Called several times before booking and arriving on pool/slide/hot tub to ensure it was open. Hot tub was closed first 2.5 days due to "testing the chemicals", finally open the afternoon before we left. Slide was constantly down. The whole point of staying at a "water park" is to enjoy it, but this place is not worth it during the summer. You have to connect to the internet...
