"During my stay, I encountered several issues. The beds had no proper blankets—only small covers that couldn’t be used for warmth. The couches were so dirty that it was unpleasant to sit on them. The corridors hadn’t seen renovations in a long time, creating a neglected atmosphere. Lastly, the room wasn’t cleaned daily, which added to the discomfort. Overall, these issues significantly impacted my experience."

"Property is beautiful, staff is pleasant and helpful. Location is great. Only issue I had is day of check in @4:30pm my room wasn’t ready. But we were able to walk around the property and the amazing views by the beach and pool. Main problem was after I was told our room was ready, they did not have the room I booked. 2 adults with 4 kids they tired to give us two separate rooms not connecting which would not work for us. To try to make it better, they gave us 3 connecting rooms. The area and condition of these rooms were not great at all. No hot water, no ice machine and just out dated. Completely ruined my daughter’s 16th birthday. Which was the very first night! We lost time which was frustrating. We then had to wait for the next day to get our original room which was great but major inconvenience to our travel plans. "

"Love my stay at Aire De Olive. A chic oasis just a few footsteps from the beach. The room was a dream as well, we had an ocean view. The shower was the star of the show, the steam and water pressure felt like you were at the spa. Housekeeping came everyday to clean and the staff were readily available to support with any of our needs. Make sure to grab a drink at AWWA and lay out on the cabanas at the pool on the 2nd floor. In terms of the area, it was just minutes from the airport and had lots of stores and food at a walkable nearby. It was also easily accessible to the more bustling areas of the island. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with elevated amenities, don’t hesitate to book. "

"Overall a pleasant stay, with a few misses in service/hospitality. First day, we stopped at the bar ordered a margarita with Cointreau, we were charged $12 for the Margarita + $12 for the Cointreau up charge = $24…typically there would be a $3 to $4 up charge for this less than 1oz ingredient. On a separate occasion we had dinner at Alba, sat outside by the pool, there were 4 employees (1 bartender, 3 servers), 4 tables sitting outside, no tables inside and still waited 30 plus minutes to get drinks and close to 45min to get food. During one of our “let’s relax by the pool” moments, around 10:30am, the maintenance crew decided to power wash the floor surrounding the pool area, most hotels would typically do this between 7 and 9am to not be a nuisance to people and families trying to enjoy the pool and sunshine. The property is centrally located to the beach and easy access around the island. The access to Vivo Beach is a great amenity. Hotel has a modern feel and room turndown service very kid friendly. Few misses on hospitality, that said, we stayed at The Royal Sonesta last year and would choose Hyatt Centric over the Royal Sonesta on our next visit. Cheers "

"I’m sure at one point this was a beautiful, beautiful property but because of hurricane you can see the deterioration of the property. There are areas where there’s just broken off cracked stucco and the second elevator of only two elevators up to the rooms was broken the entire time we were there, and the lobby is beautiful, but it was a ghost town therefore, some of the bars and restaurants were not open for business because there was no business. "

"More of an average experience than a true “resort”. Every pool lounge chair was taken by 9am every day, which is pretty ridiculous. No enforcement of “no saving seats.” Couldn’t use the hot tub as it was constantly full of children (should be adults only). Beach was nice although I noticed they refused to set up chairs for people after 3/4 because “the beach closed at 6p” which also seems a little ridiculous. The lunch food was mediocre; dinner at the Ocean restaurant was one is rhe worst meals of my life and incredibly overpriced. Drinks there were so bad that I sent mine back and ordered a wine. I stayed here many years ago and enjoyed it but probably won’t be back again now. Also - double check your bill; they didn’t include a credit I was owed initially and as others have pointed out, they are not very transparent about resort fees (although I read about them beforehand). "
