The Marc Hotel

The Marc Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"My Monday night travelers room was upgraded to the connecting newly renovated Hilton Milwaukee to a stunning spacious lovely room with a city view. The two hotels share a grand lobby, restaurants, chic Art Deco era cocktail bar, Miller High Life Pub, and even a full Starbucks street side. The lobby is gorgeous with giant chandeliers, gleaming wood, lush carpet, and friendly staff ready for checking (and check out). Can I just carry on about my room? If you love the luxe feel of the old hotels but demand cashless tip, brilliant hot water, well appointed and thoughtful room touches that you actually use AND it’s all newly done, you’re going to plan a trip to Milwaukee just to stay there. Cheese curds, local beer, healthy options (um, yeah, no I’m here for the friendly atmosphere and good food. Yum. I love large old hotels- The Drake (2014 stay-needed updating), The Marq (2025 stay-needed updating). Hilton"

8/10 Good
"Room was clean, staff was awesome, my only issue was the amount of walking I needed to do from parking garage, through casinos levels, to find the check- in desk, then the walk down the hall to our room. I am 74 years old, and got pretty exhausted doing all that walking. We unpacked ,then went back to casino to check things out negotiating 4-5 floors of slots and table games. Had a really good dinner at Rock & Brews. Server was awesome, meal great. By then I was so suckered out from walking we just went back to the room. Any problems were not the fault of the hotel/casino, but were on me and my tired old legs."

"The hotel is a bit worn, the lobby area is nice but hallways and rooms are somewhat lacking. We went 2 days without shower amenities even after requesting 2x. They were good at checking into our needs but bad at executing. Even refilling of the water at the front desk never was changed from the Friday when checking in until Sunday check out."

"The Hotel served its purpose in giving us a place to stay while we were in Milwaukee. The room was comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was not all that great. It seems as if there was only one person working on the days that we were there. The employee was definitely doing her job. She was cooking, brewing coffee, serving food and cleaning. There should have been help for her."
