"This is such a unique place. Beautiful rooms, Ours had a fireplace! Comfortable bed. Luxury lotion and hair products ❤️ Nice continental breakfast- local bakery breads, hard boiled eggs, fruit, and their special recipe oatmeal, along with an assortment of teas and of course coffee. But the extra special part is the location. Literally steps to the boardwalk and ocean! The crashing mornings waves to the views of sunset await. Minutes to all types of dining experiences. You feel so well taken care of by all of the caretakers of this lodge."

"I was traveling with my husband and elderly parents. We appreciated the layout of the room as the beds weren't right next to each other, offering a little more personal space. The room was clean and staff was friendly. This was a very quick stay as we got in later and had an earlier reservation for a tour at Hearst Castle. It was perfect for our needs and provided a good value. I wouls stay here again"

"The room is big, clean and looks new. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices, like waffles, hot and cold cereals, eggs filled with cheese, bacon and potatoes and many more. The hotel is walking distance to the beach, restaurants and short drive to Hearst Castle, Cambria and Moonstone beach. We will definitely stay here again."
