"When we checked in, we were greeted by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked cookies. The staff member who welcomed us was incredibly helpful and provided outstanding customer service. He truly deserves to be commended for making us feel so welcome. We had a lovely stay at Quality Inn and would happily stay there again"

"The property is a quaint inn located a short walk from the boardwalk that overlooks the ocean. There are a number of chairs set up nearby so guests may sit and enjoy the view. Breakfast was very good and delivered hot and on time. The housekeeping staff was very thorough and friendly. If we were leaving the hotel, the desk staff was very helpful as to where we should visit as tourists. We are planning to go back for my wife's birthday in February."

"This is a beautiful property. I have stayed here several times, although this time I could really see the impact of the water shortage. The lawn area in the back of the property was not well kept. Stunning views and access to the beach is right there. Lawn games and fireplace we're great. The hotel room was just your average room. Though showing it's age, it was clean and the beds are comfortable. It's a short 7 min drive to Cambria and Hearst Castle is close by."

"Staff was bad from the start. We arrived early due to no traffic on the highway, the lady at the front desk said to come back in an hour, so at 2:30pm and our room will be ready. we came back at 4pm (actual check-in time) and the young male (with no sense of professional communiation) said the room would be ready in ten minutes. I was not ready until 4:30pm. Here's in idea, spend some money so the staff can proudly wear Fogcatcher polo shirts and look cohosive, instead of a dingy grey peanuts sweatshirt. The location is ideal, right on ocean, so if they don't fix a thing they will still sell out. But, they should powerwash the entire property. there was dirt and dust and grime on all of the (if you could see it) white wood. it would be even more stunning if cleaned. Sweep the walkways clear of cobwebs from one guest to another. touch up paint all over the door frames, floorboards and window pains. Make sure the blinds work! Cobwebs along many of the table bottoms and side tables in our room 802. Oh, they said room 802 is partial oceanview, no, it's a full ocean view to us. You could not see the crashing waves but you certainly had a full ocean sunset view."
