"The view was fantastic and our patio appox. 60 ft from the beach. After acquiring robes and a shower bench as requested, our stay was perfect except for the toilet which was extremely low. After falling one time, we both had to use the shower bench as support and leverage to get up and down from the stool. Please replace with taller toilet!!!!"

Situated just minutes from one of California’s most iconic landmarks, the convenience factor alone makes this inn an absolute no-brainer for any traveler. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you immediately sense that this is a place that genuinely cares about its guests. The staff here are not just friendly — they are extraordinarily warm, welcoming, and go far above and beyond to make you feel right at home. Every team member we encountered greeted us with a smile and was eager to assist with anything we needed, day or night. The rooms themselves are immaculately clean, reflecting a standard of housekeeping that rivals much more expensive hotels. Every surface, corner, and fixture was spotless, giving us total peace of mind throughout our entire stay. What truly set Coast Rider Inn apart, however, was the most incredible sleeping experience we have ever had on the road. The mattresses are in a class entirely of their own — plush, perfectly supportive, and so comfortable that we actually looked forward to bedtime every single night. We woke up each morning feeling completely refreshed and ready to tackle the breathtaking tours and sights that the Central Coast has to offer."

No frills, very nice staff, I don’t think many of the motels in the area have air conditioning so that is something to consider if it matters to you. Not unique to this one though as far as I could tell. We were perfectly happy stopping here."
