"The place had a face lift and it shows but still can see some random things like the ceiling fan with no light and makes noise or the light coming in at night from the hallway. Staff was not very helpful on arrival just handed me the key, did not tell me where the room was. seemed to be bothered by having to talk to me. For the price it was fine but would not seek out staying here again. Breakfast was okay but eggs and sausage (while a nice touch) were greasy. "

"Place in great location. Room very nice with a partial ocean view, but please clean the windows so one can enjoy it. Appreciate the extra towels already being in the room. BONUS- EAT at Cambria Cafe. Best breakfast burrito I have had in a long time with fresh salsa! "

The breakfast was both delicious and nutritious, which is a rare treat when traveling. Sierra Rose clearly runs the lodge with great care and attention to detail. You can feel the pride in how well everything is managed. We would happily stay here again."
