Was here for only two nights and it was exceptional, the beds were comfortable. It was also a short walk to shops, stores, and restaurants. There was a fire pit that was always lit at night and the windows inside the rooms had shutters. Also there was a window in the bathroom. Amazing visit!

It costs a lot less than staying on moonstone beach. The rooms in back have balconies or small decks opening up on the creek. The hummingbirds are busy there. Rooms in back also have gas fireplaces.

We had a very nice room and had a small patio out the back. The room was very clean and comfortable. We liked the ability to walk to several restaurants. We will return the next time we are in Cambria.

We were so pleased to find that our room backed a creek and we had a back porch with lovely chairs and a small table. Our room looked into the woods with lovely pine tree and Cala lilies. It was so peaceful. The room was remodeled and was clean and lovely and the bathroom was nice. Had a wonderful fireplace, fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. We had a deluxe king room. Just a short walk to restaurants. I would come and stay again!

Cute and quaint location. Odd open & closing times. Breakfast opens at 8 AM, and consists of granola bars. Internet is spotty and extremely slow (10MB). Outdoor fire table makes for a nice gathering.

There was no vacancy but parking was very convenient. The front office manager was very welcoming. Our only complaint was the room below us, they were having a long conversation until about 11. Then he snored pretty loud. That has nothing to do with Bluebird Inn. We are very grateful. Thank you

Sweet little inn. Kind and helpful staff. Zack in the office was especially wonderful — I spoke to him when booking my reservation — he was attentive, and stayed in-touch by phone that evening before my very late arrival in order to make sure there was nothing for me to worry about. My room was quiet and clean. When staying alone feeling safe and sound is important, and I did. Parking is right in front of your room. There’s a patio with a cute fire-pit and chairs to enjoy, lots of restaurants and shops within steps, too. Cute gardens on the grounds of the in. and friendly people work there. I’ll definitely stay again and I highly recommend. It’s your “charming but basic” vibe — exactly what you’d expect from an inn in Cambria.

While I love staying at the Bluebird, I am not happy with the changes too management. The first issue was the first night the internet wasn't available. Now that in itself isn't a big deal, however the TV is attached to the internet. Sometimes having a TV helps ones sleep in a new place order drown out an upstairs neighbor who doesn't know how they are etc. The attitude of the older morning staff well we can't do much about the cable company. Previous experience with the wonky internet was check the relay box and work on making it right. Another issue was every time I had stayed (weekend), the fire pit was left on until 10 pm. The evening fellow was literally standing at 9:00 pm. Maybe having a overlapped shift would be nice. I'd hate to be running late on arrival and having to call a number to check in because there's nobody to help with a late check-in.
