「Close to Stansted airport. Bear in mind £4 per trip to and from airport. Breakfast included. So very good for value. In general it’s a but dated. McDonald’s and M&S food hall just a min walk away. For a brief stay to catch an early flight. Very good choice. 」

「A business trip and had a commercial meeting at ESSAX suite, everything was well! Service was nice, restaurant offers typical British breakfast. Only a problem, the air conditioner will be re-set to the low temperature randomly. 」

「Spent 2 nights at The Cricketers, had a lovely stay, our room was in The Pavilion annex, spacious room, lovely bathroom, spotlessly clean, comfy bed. We ate both evenings at the pub, the food was wonderful and very tasty. Breakfast was great, with a very good choice. The lady doing the breakfast service was brilliant, so efficient and friendly. Staff were very good, polite and helpful. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back. 」

「Staff were very good, we arrived quite late at night because of the train mishap. It was raining and cold, we were made welcome and shown to rooms until we were happy with the choice!, room was warm clean and tidy. Breakfast was great lunch was delicious. A wonderful memorable stay will go again definitely!」

「This hotel is in a good location with shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. It is a great value for money. The rooms are spacious and it was great to have iron, fan and hairdryer in the room. If there was aircon I would give it 5 stars in all areas. However it won't refrain me from returning. I will come back again. 」
