Really well appointed rooms and great breakfast staff friendly and very attentive i couldn't fault the stay apart from my room took an age to warm up it was an intensely cold night but it was hours before i was able to feel warm

Fab pub with rooms - loved it

Gorgeous little hotel in the countryside, stayed due to being at a wedding close by but would visit again. Great food and service, lovely comfortable rooms. The pub also has a lovely big beer garden for when the weather is nice. Loved our garden room, having 2 seats and a little space to sit outside was excellent. Only negative is no fridge in the room.

Lovely stay

Really lovely comfortable room. Best air con/heating system ive encountered in a hotel ...it cooled room down quickly and quietly and equally heated it up the same. Room was decorated well and service was great. The only reason i have given less stars for comfort was the beds - I'm sure a lot of people would love them but i found them too hard.

Friendly, efficient and cosy

Arrived after a long drive to a friendly and efficient welcome. I was shown to my room and what a lovely cosy place it was. Evening in the bar area was peaceful and warm with friendly and efficient service again. There was a little noise overnight but I noticed ear plugs were provided in the room. All in all a great stay

Overnight visit

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. We had a standard double (only small issue is that particular room double bed is on the small side so someone of 6ft + might have an issue). Staff very welcoming and friendly but also professional. Food - all meals the food was excellent quality. Fresh and very well cooked - we had dinner, breakfast and Sunday lunch and was consistently good.

All good. Great to have the ac on such a hot night. All staff extremely helpful and friendly. My only tiny criticism was that the breakfast baked beans were very runny. They either needed to be cooked longer or a better quality purchased.

Noisey and a little overpriced. I had to get out of bed to complain about a staff member on the phone in the room next door. Paper thin walls, not a good nights sleep after that

I stayed with my mum who is in a wheelchair. The Fox provided a ramp, removeable suction hand grips, rubber shower mat and a shower seat without asking. Access via the terrace. Perfect!
