The room was fantastic, the place is a bit outdated but super charming and spacious. It was easy to park and the spa is also great. Lovely place to treat yourself and rest. Also the local town is full of cute cafes and lovely walks

unfortunately very tired property, needs a lot of money to be spent on it to bring it up to the 21st century. No air-conditioning, no separate shower, just stand in a bath generally poor standard of furniture breakfast very average for a £200/night hotel

We had a wonderful family stay and would highly recommend this hotel. I accidentally booked two rooms when we only needed one, and the staff were incredibly kind and happy to cancel one of the bookings and refund the payment, which we really appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and well presented, the swimming pool was excellent, and the facilities were fantastic. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, with a great selection and high-quality food. Overall, a great hotel with outstanding customer service, and we would happily stay here again.

The staff in the restaurant were very unhelpful and a tad miserable. They made no effort. The breakfast food was ok but nothing more. I couldn’t locate gluten free bread options nor could I find a member of staff to help. I had to ask for cutlery when I chose what food I could. The service was unimpressive. However, I attended a wedding the day before and the food was very good indeed - gf was catered for brilliantly which I why I have given it a 3 star rating.

Staff were extremely helpful, hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained, particularly the pool area. Lunch and breakfast were good value. The room hadn't been cleaned, though we were told it was ready for us, but the reception staff offered us an alternative room when I rang them about it - as we were going out, we agreed they would clean the room then, and it was fine when we returned. Overall, an enjoyable stay. Thanks

Very well maintained hotel in a serene golf setting. Lots for kids and adults to do. The pool and spa were one of the best we have been to. The food in the restaurant could do with a bit of improvement.

A Surprisingly tired hotel for a Marriott, and very basic meals on offer, predominantly a golf hotel with sports bar and aged spa/gym facilities. Our family room has no AC either!

The hotel was lovely and the staff are brilliant and very friendly and extremely helpful. My only complaint was the food ordered as room service was nearly cold by the time it arrived.
