「Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)」

「The rooms aren't actually in/ above the pub, there is a separate building out the back with the rooms. The building isn't anywhere near as attractive at the pub! I was a little disappointed as it was a birthday present to go to The Henry Moore Foundation, dinner and stay over. The rooms are nice, we had a king room and the bed was huge and comfy- no complaints about the rooms themselves, other than they were very hot. I would stay again if in the area, but not as a special occasion.」

I feel the TV is too small, bathroom tap is very wobbly, and the corridor and doors paintwork is very scratched and shabby. I did put about the paintwork on last review a couple of months ago when we stayed, but nothing has been improved. Just needs a lick of paint and it would be much better! My bathroom door also looks very shabby and disintegrating at the bottom.」
