"The brochure pictures are very misleading… I thought I was getting a good deal… in the end I got less value for money than I thought I was getting. If you are on a very very very tight budget, you will get a slab to sleep on and in from the cold. Although the staff were very welcoming. "

"The hotel lobby is quite beautiful and the location is absolutely perfect. It is right in the centre of town. My complaint is mainly the service. Some of the staff went above and beyond and were super friendly and personable, and others were quite cold and unwelcoming. My father was in the bath when someone entered his room for no reason. We went and complained and were told it was simply just a member of the supervisor team checking in on the room. We think this was so strange and unacceptable. They should know who is in a room and who is not before coming in. There was no knock on the door either when they came in making it quite an embarrassing experience. We reported it to reception and they didn't seem so bothered. "

"Nice unique hotel, very nice room, maybe a bit small but nice, clean and well equipped. Got some complementary snacks and the breakfast was also 5 star! Will gladly come back!"

"Long delays checking in again but the staff were polite. Desks are a barrier, maybe meet customers the same side of the data consel?"

"We’ve stayed here 4 times over the last 4 years and always enjoyed it as a great location but it was a shame to see that this year the bar and restaurant was no longer there and one of the lifts was out of service the entire weekend and when you’re on the 6th floor it wasn’t ideal as often the lifts were full so had a long wait. "

"Breakfast menu and food was excellent- so fresh and delicious. Rooms clean and lovely pool and leisure facilities. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again if I’m back in Manchester. Very close to trains and trams also. "
