It says on the booking description please contact property if check in is after 10pm, tried calling all day- got through at 6pm as their ‘phone lines were down’ to be told - no late check in! Refund not given! Was booked as a wedding present for bride n groom on their wedding night!」

「Our room was very dated and run down, in desperate need of refurbishment. Shower leaked everywhere, plaster peeling and damp and mould all over. The £120 room only per night was far more than it’s worth. The bar is nice and the food is reasonably for a pub, it’s not a restaurant. Location is good and has parking which is rare for Howarth.」

「Room was pretty shabby , needing refurbishment but very clean. The mattress was very soft and could do with replacing. As the room was painted in dark colours it made it feel very small but the lighting over the bed made reading comfortable. The room I had overlooked the outside beer garden which had lights on all night. The shutters did not keep the light out. As a woman on her own I noticed there was no bolt or chain from the inside but I did feel safe. The bar downstairs was really pleasant...
