「Staff was unhelpful and uninterested in the quality of our stay. In the high desert, the carpet was strangely damp and squishy. Light in the bathroom was so dim I couldn’t do any grooming or makeup. It is pet friendly, but the pet was a dog left alone in the room across the hall and who barked day and night. The pool did seem popular.」

「The place was clean and we loved the western theme of the room. The kids enjoyed the pool, which included pool toys and large towels! Staff were friendly and very helpful. Free and convenient parking. We would definitely stay here again!」

「As a historically important hotel, it is well-maintained, and I liked that the lobby and building's appearance which differentiated it from hotels in other areas, gave a very unique experience. However, it seemed that some training for the staff was necessary. I think the employee's attitude of not even looking at the customer's face when asking something at the front desk was not in line with the dignity of this hotel.」

「Our overall stay was enjoyable. Room was clean, hotel staff were polite, and the room was exactly as described. The only unexpected challenge was the continental breakfast. The service space is small compared to the amount of people staying at the hotel. We were shoulder to shoulder trying to get coffee and our food. Seating is limited, too.」

「There was a funky smell to the room one night and they offered to bring up air freshener. It cleared by morning. Our tub didn’t feel particularly safe for showers. The tub sloped and there wasn’t much grippy coating left on the bottom for balance on a slippery tub bottom. Breakfast was ok but the ice machine was wicked loud if you sat by it.」
