We had a wonderful less than 24 hours at La Posada with our 13year old & 2year old Golden Doodle - love that they allow dogs, have multiple restaurants & a heated saltwater pool & hottub. & it's so pretty!!

One of my favorite Sanra Fe hotels with a wide variety of rooms ranging from magnificent to, well, meh. staff is helpful and cheerful. Grounds are lovely. Because it is a walled compound you want to avoid rooms on the walls, some of which look out on work areas. Great location.

It was all so easy. The worst thing, not that bad, was the steam room is only open while the spa is open. The room we stayed in you could hear people outside. We enjoyed our visit.

This property is on 6-acres with southwestern architecture and beautiful grounds. We enjoyed all that La Posada de Santa Fe offers, including a fitness center, a spa, several restaurants/bars, and a heated pool as well as a hot tub. It is also located within walking distance to the old town/plaza area of Santa Fe with its museums, shops and restaurants. The staff members are very friendly and work to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We plan to return.

I was disappointed in the room, quite cramped, the outside door had gaps around and below that light could be seen from the inside and room for "critters" such as scorpions and others to come in uninvited. For a five-star rated resort, it was a large disappointment.

This was a lovely property with many amenities such as the spa, fitness center, shuttle, restaurant within walking distance to the galleries, shops and restaurants however some of the rooms felt old and dark. The staff was very accommodating when my first room had an old carpet odor. Our second room was much better. My friend also had to change her first location. Fortunately the staff was so helpful and understanding.

My wife very much enjoyed her massage with Donna on Saturday. I have to say the staff was very hospitable. I am pretty sure that it was Devlin who checked us in. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. After a 7 hour drive which ended in some very wet and snowy conditions in the Santa Fe area, Devlin made the check in process very easy and was very helpful with his directions to our great room. La Posada is a beautiful, historic property, very convenient to the main action in old town. We went in mid March so couldn't enjoy the grounds that people compliment (dormant vegetation and fountains turned off). Contrary to negative reviews about room condition and quality, our king fireplace suite was in perfect condition other than a problematic sofa sleeper. The spa is really nice and we enjoyed our spirit of Santa Fe treatment, which, by resort standards was very reasonably priced. Our only gripe was the hot tub (a key reason we selected La Posada) was badly in need of water treatment and cleaning (they promised to credit our resort fee).

We stayed at La Posada for our one year Wedding Anniversary. Upon arrival your are greeted immediately with complimentary valet parking, which is so helpful since parking in the historic Santa Fe area can be tricky. At check in we were greeted by Hector who knew we were celebrating and upgraded our room. We loved the in room gas firce place and used it every night after exploring the town. The hotel staff helped my husband with special surprises throughout our stay. Our room was clean and spacious. Since it was still winter there was work happening on the grounds but still look well maintained. The furniture could be seen as dated but we thought it was fine. The hotel is close enough to historic Santa Fe but far enough to still feel peaceful.
