I had a four-night stay at the property and it met my expectations. The inn is conveniently located within walking distance to the plaza, churches, Canyon Road and other tourist attractions. The made-to-order breakfast was lovely (although some of the servers can be non-attentive), the lobby is well-appointed and comfortable, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the outdoor pool is heated to 82 degrees so despite chilly air it is still warm enough for a swim. Best of all, the restaurant and bar have good, reasonably priced food so we didn't have to hunt for a place to eat every night.

I am a 79-year old woman with arthritis and must use a walker to get around. Hence I need a property that is not only ADA compliant, but ADA friendly. The Inn of the Governors fulfilled all my needs and did it well. Plus its location close to the Plaza makes it easy for everyone who travels with me, to enjoy themselves as well.

A fun place to say right in the center of Santa Fe. Not new or fancy, but it had fun amenities like the Sherry at night. The breakfast was a really good from scratch breakfast included with this day.

This Inn is so warm, cozy, beautiful and very welcoming from the first greeting at the reception desk, to seeing your amazing room complete soft beds, a sparkling bathroom and even a fireplace with wood, to your delicious individually prepared breakfast, to an afternoon sherry hour and games in the lobby and last but not least, to easily accessed parking. AND all those fabulous amenities are included in the price. The Inn is also so near all the best places to visit that it’s an easy quick walk to them all!

Staff was exceptional—they reached out to us after I responded with a “meh” to an Expedia query re check in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is great—just about everything in SF is walking distance. It’s an older property and you can hear your neighbors if they are loud. Outside rooms can get street noise. But it’s a solid value for the price (free parking and good breakfast included), especially for families or those who would rather spend their money in restaurants or art galleries in the city.

Let me start off by saying before we even checked into Inn of the Governors I had a friendly, positive and customer oriented experience via phone and email with Becky at the front desk. She was on point with all my questions and provided me with some great recommendations during our stay. Thank you Becky, it was a pleasure meeting and chatting with you after our arrival!🤗 Our deluxe room was clean and very comfortable. The daily breakfast that was included in our stay was cooked to order and tasty. The front desk staff, most dining staff and housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was centrally located to the historic downtown plaza and if we return again in the future we will definitely book a stay here again. Thank you for the memories.😊
