「This is a lovely old building. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed is superb for a good nights sleep. Set just outside town, a short taxi ride in and out, it was very quiet and ample safe parking. The Dinner was very good (Belly pork) and you must try the garlic and cheese bread, it is huge like a pizza and far more than we expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay a memorable one. Thank you very much. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.」

「Parking was a bit tricky to get in underneath to park n. but very secure. The hotel staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for then. Because of our age we found the stairs a big challenge so probably would not return 」

「We booked the hotel through Expedia for a cycle event in Wincanton. The location was perfect. Our room was huge and had an external door allowing access to the exterior. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked too. All staff were pleasant and sociable to us. Would happily stay again.」

「The breakfast buffet was a bit underwhelming..only eggs scrambled, I didn’t ask about vegan options but egg choices or vegan options were not offered, the basics were there but I felt that getting down to breakfast early was a better bet. I was upgraded to a spacious room on arrival on an upper floor with fabulous views. Very clean and quiet. Central location was excellent. Staff were very helpful.」

「Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, ...
