「Quaint older property, nicely remodeled. Large rooms. Parking is limited, but everything else was in working order. I’d stay again if I return to the area. Great value for the price!」

「The area may not be a safe place bcos my car was stolen within the hotel parking area during my stay. Never happened to me for the +40 driving years! Guests need to pay more attention on their belongings. Despite this, the front desk staff are kind and very helpful by providing the CCTV videos and reporting the case to the LAPD. Its good that I bought the Full compensation insurance.」

「Perfect for just a room, but don’t expect any amenities such as ice machine, refrigerator, or microwave. The location is incorrect and in a dangerous zone of the city (9th and mesa) and there’s no designated parking space. Overall I had a decent experience but I wouldn’t come back unless I desperately need a cheap room. P.S., the motel is also inaccessible for people with disabilities so be wary of that.」

No iron or ironing board in the room. I had to ask reception for one. No blow dryer in room. The chest drawer would not stay closed. I had to prop with a napkin. No coffee maker. 「It’s a beautiful hotel—well-presented, clean, and overall lovely. However, the staff experience was disappointing. We arrived for check-in after 4 PM (around 4:30), and our room wasn’t ready. We had an event at 6 PM and needed to prepare, yet we waited 20 to 30 minutes. While they offered two complimentary drinks, I would have preferred timely access to the room. Additionally, they charge around $45–$50 for an “urban experience” that includes a house car service. When I requested the house car...

「The hotel is next to a very busy intersection and was very loud especially at very early hours of morning. The a/c is located right in front of beds which is inconvenient, since you will freeze too quickly but if you turn it off it gets too stuffy. The room we got had a strange smell that wouldn’t go away even with door and window open. I did advise the front desk person and he provided me with some air freshener. Beds seem comfy」
