The area may not be a safe place bcos my car was stolen within the hotel parking area during my stay. Never happened to me for the +40 driving years! Guests need to pay more attention on their belongings. Despite this, the front desk staff are kind and very helpful by providing the CCTV videos and reporting the case to the LAPD. Its good that I bought the Full compensation insurance.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. The hotel itself felt dated and a bit run down, but clean and a good spot for a nights rest before a cruise. Free shuttle to the port also included which was fantastic!

We were able to check-in early, and the room was very clean and comfortable. All rooms have street-side entries, and street noise was bad until later in the evening. The included breakfast was very minimal, and we chose to walk to a cafe about 12 minutes away.

Room was clean but could use some work. The tub had been repaired as well as the tiles around the tub, and NOT done well, so decided not to use it. The hotel is close to cruiseport and supplied free shuttle, so good for a night. Many restaurants close by.

The parking lot is being utilized for longer term parking for cruise goers and no spots were available for guests - we were told to use a spot more suitable for a motorcycle and we’re driving a smaller SUV. Then we were told we could utilize a spot marked as “reserved” with a sign threatening a tow. The room could use a deep clean. Dirt was visible in various places, finger prints on the mirrors, etc. Would not stay here again and baffled as to the current guest rating which lead us to believe this was better than it ended up being…

This hotel has seen much better days. It’s good for one thing only and that’s if you’re going to take a cruise from San Pedro cruise terminal and need a one night stay before the cruise leaves. The hotel offers a free shuttle. It’s literally a mile to the cruise ship terminal. We’ve been staying there for approximately 20 years on and off whenever we take a cruise out of San Pedro. It’s been quite a long time since the last time we stayed and it was very disappointing to see how much lack of care they’ve given to the rooms and the hotel grounds. The rooms are dated with old banged up furniture. The doors and floors are dirty. It seems to be a bit of a temporary housing for some. I think I would pay almost twice as much and stay at the Hilton or Hyatt and pay for an Uber to the Pier.

Room was really clean, but the furnishings were very worn out as was the tub. Great location for staying the night before a cruise and the free shuttle was the bonus. The breakfast included wasnt great, but the coffee machine in the lobby was excellent. Overall, even though the staff were all amazing, i dont think id stay there again. I would pay a little more at a different hotel.
