Gorgeous hotel in downtown San Francisco. Clean, front staff was courteous, efficient and friendly. Location is close to a lot of great destinations around downtown. One small gripe is the staff in the bar lounge area were definitely waking up on the wrong side of the bed. Got very nasty very quick for no reason, they apologized later, after i continued to be friendly, but it was too late - whatever, didn't take away from the hotel overall, definitely worth it.

Great area! Convenient on foot, public transportation or if you opt for the Big Bus. The lounge, starlite, upstairs is swanky, but if you are alone expect the bar, they will not allow you to utilize a sofa for sunset. The cocktails were fantastic, bartenders eager to please; but typical of San Fran, pricey! The Post had hands down the best lamb shank I’ve EVER had with an astounding summer version like a succotash of summer vegetables! The oysters were light and incredibly FRESH- and quite...

Loved staying at this hotel. Super unique, and super comfortable. I felt like I was stepping back into a golden era. The Tuesday night trivia was a wonderful addition to my stay, and I highly recommend Tuesday Trivia Night.
