Albergo San Marco

"The Albergo San Marco was a 10 out of 10 stay. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff, facilities and rooms were all excellent. Located in the heart of the action, just behind St. Mark's square, this was an ideal location and very handy for popping back to the room to refresh before heading out for more sight seeing. It was also close to 3 vaporetto (water bus) stops. The Alilaguna water bus from the airport stopped at the San Marco Giardinetti stop and it was only a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The breakfast was very good and included hot dishes (eggs/bacon) and a variety of other options (yogurt and toppings, vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts, fruits, breads, cereals, pastries, juices, tea and coffee). There was a small grocery store just steps away and many, many restaurants and take away food options in the area. The rooms have great air conditioning, it was very quiet at night, and the hotel has been recently renovated ."

"This was a lovely stay. The hotel is very nice and decorated well, and the air conditioner worked great. It was also very close to the water taxi that goes to the airport, so nice and convenient. I would highly recommend this place"
