This hotel is one of best secrets in Venice. A mansion of a local industrialist, it is still owned and managed by his family. It has a great character, a beautiful garden, and it is surprisingly affordable.

Gorgeous Venetian oasis

The hotel is well located, away from the centre of Venice but still close to various vaporetto stops which makes it easy to get around. The hotel itself is lovely and very comfortable - the air conditioning was strong and quiet, perfect in the June heat. The staff were very friendly and made our stay a delightful one.

Staff was amazingly kind. After traveling through US I expect a mediocre service environment. These people were so kind, over the top helpful. The property is a converted third generation home and exquisite. Breakfast was not what we expected. It was lacking nothing including fresh everything and cappuccino made for us.

Great staff, we stayed at the family room for four with a nice bathroom with a separate bath tub (very clean and renovated). Highly recommend to take the taxi boat that can stop just in front of the property.

This hotel was an excellent find—away from the throngs of tourists (with the sites just a short walk away) and it was such a comforting place to come home to. The inner courtyard and back garden are beautiful and quiet and unique in this city. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts were fantastic. Our room was very large and clean and quiet—with lovely views.
