"The hotel is located in a very convenient area, which was one of the main reasons we chose to stay there. However, there was a group of youngsters lingering just outside the hotel entrance almost all day and night. They were smoking and chatting loudly, which made us feel uncomfortable. Housekeeping was available daily, although there were no water bottles, toothbrushes, or toothpaste provided in the room, which we had already expected. The hotel lobby felt old and somewhat untidy. Additionally, the water dispenser in the lobby was broken for 3 out of the 6 days of our stay. The aircon was too old and too noisy. We also requested to store our luggage at the hotel for one night while we traveled to another town, but this was declined due to space constraints."

"Amazing place to hangout, we used the spaces/amenities a ton. Rooftop is awesome, staff was so nice and overall common spaces are awesome. One thing that was annoying was that you couldn’t work past 6pm on your laptop in the common spaces. I understand why, just something to note if you are on a work trip. I had a loft king room and it was facing a busy street, view was nice but it got pretty loud at night (8th floor). Especially on the weekends. Get a room not facing the street if you can!"

"This was a great value in the heart of New York. Room was big by New York standards. Decor was updated but still kept the original art deco flavor. Bathroom was small but amenities like shampoo and lotion were high quality and water pressure was excellent! Staff was super welcoming, kind, and helpful. Would definitely stay again!"

"Well situated, close to the subway. Helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Clean comfortable rooms. Where to start… All of the doors are extremely heavy. Not a good flow to the hotel, the elevators were tucked behind the reception desk and you would never know they were there, no signage. My room was over the square courtyard facing a wall of windows that looked directly in on other guests rooms, no reflective glass, I saw lots of naked people who I suspect had no idea. The first day a women came to my room at almost 5pm to service it, I was just back from a long day and want to relax, so I grabbed a couple of fresh towel and called it a day, I didnt bother with the room service after that. The thing that did it for me was the awful air conditioner/heater/thermostat. You could set it to whatever you wanted and it only worked one way, nothing was on and it was beginning to get warm and then suddenly it would click and boom on and blow full blast freezing air at the bed, then turn itself off and repeat… all night. When I mentioned it to a women at reception she said she sure would let maintenance know, but it sounded like lip service and that she had certinally heard that before. I wont book there again."

"Cute place with personality. Loved showers pillows and bed was comfy. Only downside is I couldn’t use my charger - I brought a bigger block and the outlets were so loose it was too heavy to stay in (tried multiple outlets). But overall loved location and the place and staff was super friendly."

"After staying here many times, this is probably my last. They are renovating the hotel and the main entrance is a mess. I waited a half hour for the elevators two times because one didn’t work at all. It is a mess. The rooms are tiny now. You have a super large TV on the wall, and a table and chair and the bathroom shower is a water closet. The amenities are few compared to my stay in fall of 2025. It’s a shame how they made the rooms so small and clunky. I didn’t eat there. I just wanted out the next day. "
