"The hotel was located in a great spot and was within walking distance to most of the places I wanted to visit. The breakfast buffet was good. My only complaint was I kept hearing what sounded like a knocking noise in my room. Not sure what that was coming from. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay. I would come back and recommend to others."

"Parking was difficult, trying to trek luggage around and find parking was terrible, but the staff was helpful. You can pull in front of the hotel and unload and they will hold your luggage. There is a parking lot behind the hotel, spaces were very tight and prices were about $45 a night. Hotel was built in 1893 so the rooms aren’t extravagant, they have character. Great location for walking the city. "

"Very clean rooms. Housekeeping doesn't clean rooms daily. Every few days, so I had to ask for clean towels. No big deal. Breakfast was awesome! Kiss the cook! Staff was friendly and hotel in the heart of it all. Great bagels next door. Will definitely stay there again."

I especially want to recognize the bartender from Sacramento, I wish I could remember her name because she absolutely deserves the recognition (and a raise!). "Good stay, rooms and staff were decent. I was disappointed there isn’t a microwave as we were there 3 nights and needed one in our room. We found parking convenient and location was walkable to downtown. Enjoyed our stay and Chicago. Would stay again, just would love a microwave."
