"I booked a stay for my client from May 14–15, and she separately booked May 15–18 herself. Before she arrived, I specifically called the front desk to ask whether the reservations could be connected so she wouldn’t need to check out, switch rooms, or come back downstairs in the middle of her stay. I explained multiple times that she was arriving internationally and would be very jet-lagged, so I wanted to make sure everything was smooth for her. I was clearly told that although the reservations could not technically be merged, she could stay in the same room and would not need to check out/check back in until May 18. Today, while she was inside the room resting, two staff members opened her room door because they thought she had checked out. She was extremely uncomfortable and upset by this. When I called the front desk to ask what happened, I was then told she was supposed to come downstairs and provide her card information again. Neither she nor I were ever told this during check-in or during my phone call yesterday. What upset me even more was the attitude from the front desk staff. When I explained that my guest felt uncomfortable because strangers opened her room while she was inside, I was basically asked, “What do you want us to do?” Then I was told she needed to add a debit card at the front desk, and the call was ended."

"CONS: stayed in room 808. super dark, only had low lighting, which my partner and i suspect was so they could hide the stains of the room. view was of the ugly back side of the building. worst part was the ac/heater. it was cold when we were there in early may and we were told the heater wasn't working for any of the rooms, so we had to double up on blankets. had splitting headache during our first night and asked the front desk if they had tylenol (acetaminophen) which being the most basic of medications we thought they would have, but of course they didn't. husband had to do a cvs run at 2am for something they should've already had as a hotel. walls were thin that you could hear next door occupants flushing or taking a shower. lastly, very little water also came out of showerhead. PROS: great location (within a few minutes walk to starbucks reserve, trader joe's, and most importantly to the red line), price is cheaper compared to most hotels in the area. overall, hotel works only if your budget is tight. but if you want a truly restful vacation where you're not dreading going back to the hotel, then i'd recommend finding somewhere else to stay."

We booked this hotel at the very last minute and didn't have much time to read the fine print of everything, but in order to use the pool/hot tub you need to sign up down at the pool. It isn't an issue if there isn't many people but if it's busy you'll need to reserve a spot. It wasn't a big deal- we went down, signed our names, and went right in. It was a pretty good location for walking to different stores."

"There was a party next door in at least two to three rooms. The cops finally came after security showed up arguing in the hall. It was noisy well past 1 am. Should have been dealt with much earlier"
